YWCA Glendale and Pasadena’s Holiday Giving Program
We provide resources and support to survivors of domestic violence and their children so they can achieve self-sufficiency and live free from violence. Every year our donors make holiday wishes come true for families affected by domestic violence through our Holiday Giving program. Families provide a list of their most needed items, and donors are matched with them and their wish lists.
How It Works: Fill out the form in this link indicating your preference to gift to a small, medium, or large-sized family. We will match all families with donors, and you will receive the family’s wish list before November ends. Wish lists include sizes, preferences, and any special needs.
Gift Drop Off: Please place the gifts into a box labeled with the family’s ID and drop them off at the YWCA Glendale & Pasadena’s office (735 E Lexington Dr, Glendale, CA 91206) Monday- Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m by December 15th, 2023. If possible, please schedule your drop-off time
Quick Tips:
- The average cost to buy for a small family is $250.
- You are welcome to purchase gifts for the parents as well.
- We ask that you buy new clothing and toys only. Used donations will not be accepted.
- If you prefer to provide a gift card instead of purchasing gifts, please contact us directly!

“It is a very special thing to have holiday gifts sent to your family by someone who, without knowing you and the circumstances that brought you to YWCA, is rooting for you and believes in you, and that you can make a new life for yourself and your children.” Angela, 2016 Program Participant
