Interested In Joining Our Board?

We are excited to announce that YWCA Glendale and Pasadena is now accepting applications to serve on our Board of Directors for a two-year term, beginning July 1st, 2023!

The primary role of the YWCA Board is to provide mission-based, visionary leadership and strategic governance to enhance the services and supports provided to over 3,000 women and children served annually.

We are looking for Black, Indigenous, People of Color, individuals who are 30 and under and individuals with expertise or access to resources in the following areas to consider joining our board:

  • Facility/Building Planner or Architect
  • Real Estate Development
  • Risk Management
  • Social media/Public Relations
  • Gender and Racial Equity Advocacy
  • Armenian Advocacy Issues
  • CPA/Finance
  • Wealth Advisor
  • Philanthropy/Capital Campaign planning

Our application deadline is March 24th. We encourage you to share with your contacts or anyone you think may be interested in applying.
