YWCA Glendale and Pasadena Appoints New Board Members

Glendale, CA, July 10, 2023 YWCA Glendale and Pasadena welcomes Erin Edwards, Amanda Faissal, Dalia V. Lomeli, Jess Skylar, Dr. Paula Stamp, and Arsine Yedigaryan to the Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2023.

Erin Edwards is an accomplished marketing and communications professional, currently serving as the Director of Marketing & Communications for the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF). Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona and resides in Glendale, CA.

Amanda Faissal grew up in Glendale and currently resides in Pasadena. She is a highly accomplished Business Consultant with over eight years of experience and currently serves as the Communications Assistant for Assemblymember Laura Friedman’s district. Amanda holds a B.S. in Business Management from CSUN.

Dalia V. Lomeli is the Corporate Communications Senior Manager at QTC Management, a Leidos company. With over 25 years of experience, Dalia has a strong background in integrated marketing, program management, strategic planning, and marketing strategy development. Dalia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry Management from Simmons University and a Master’s in Integrated Marketing from Emerson College.

Jess Skylar is the Managing Partner at Think of Us and a 2023 Joyful Impact Fellow. Leveraging more than 20 years of diverse experience, Jess excels at building organizations and has worked across industries including Non-Profits, Education, Cloud Based Computing, Philanthropy, Financial Services, Professional Development/Client Services, Enterprise Software, and many more.

Dr. Paula Stamp is the Vice President of Economic Development for CLAYCO. Paula earned her undergraduate degree from Loyola University and an MBA and Ph.D. in Higher Education from Azusa Pacific University. Paula is president-elect of the Society for Marketing Professional Services international board and sits on the non-profit developer, A Community of Friends board.

Arsine Yedigaryan is an HR Business Partner Manager at City National Bank. She has been working in human resources for over 15 years and in her current role, she provides guidance and support to senior leaders and executive management in building people capabilities to support business goals. She is also a wife and mother to two, Michael (8) and Leah (4).

These new members will serve alongside other YWCA Glendale and Pasadena board members, which include:

The primary role of the YWCA Glendale and Pasadena Board of Directors is to provide mission-based, visionary leadership and strategic governance to enhance the services and support provided to over 3,000 women and children served annually.
